tasty variation of the hot beverage and a delightful alternative to soft drinks.

Iced coffee has many benefits, for example, it is:
NATURAL. Coffee is the seed found inside
the fruit of a coffee cherry.
LOW IN CALORIES. A 10-ounce glass of iced
black coffee has less than one calorie.
INEXPENSIVE. You can enjoy iced coffee all
day for approximately one third the cost of soft drinks. Left over coffee at
breakfast makes iced coffee for lunch.
EASY TO PREPARE. Use the same equipment and
Jamaica Mountain Choice Coffee you already use to brew hot coffee.
REFRESHING Try iced coffee as a great
cooler on warm summer days, it's uplifting and thirst-quenching.

Refreshing Variations
Coffee Delight
1 cup brewed flavored or regular coffee
1 cup chilled skim milk
1 teaspoon dairy whipped topping,
cinnamon, nutmegs in pinches.
Combine ingredients with brewed coffee.
Pour the mixture over ice and
top with whipped cream topping and a pinch of ground cinnamon or nutmeg.
Serves

Iced Coffee with Honey
Use 1 cup brewed Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee. Allow to cool. Pour over cracked ice or ice cubes with 1 tablespoon
honey in a glass. Dust with ground cinnamon and ground nutmeg. Serves 1.

Treats With Spirit
Reggae Coffee
Just one sip transports you to Jamaica
1/3 oz Jamaica Rum
1/3 oz Coffee Liqueur
1/3 oz. Crθme de Cacao
1 cup brewed Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee
Whipped cream and nutmeg.
Combine the first four ingredients and top with whipped cream
and nutmeg. Add sugar if required.
Serve over cracked ice. Serves 2.
Jamaican Grog
Make It Jamaica Again
1 cup brewed Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee
1/2 oz. each Light & Dark Jamaica Rum
2 teaspoons Coconut Rum
Evaporated Milk, Shaved Chocolate
Combine the first 4 ingredients. Top with evaporated milk,
shaved chocolate. Serve over cracked ice.

DO's and DON'Ts |
DO's
Store coffee in a clean dry, odorless and
cool environment.
Rotate stock of coffee regularly by watching the date of roasting.
Use the recommended serving of coffee to water to get the best possible
taste.
Clean all utensils/brewing equipment thoroughly after each use.
Replace or wash coffee filters after each use.
Serve coffee soon after brewing. Try to serve within three hours.
Use cold water to begin brewing and if coffee is too strong add boiling
water. |
DON'Ts
Don't
store coffee beside or close to products with
strong odors like spices etc.
Don't store
coffee beside a heated items or in direct sunlight.
Don't pack
all supplies of coffee together or use recent stock before older stock.
Don't use more than recommended mixing
ratios, it will be too strong and bitter.
Don't use detergent or scouring powder
to clean utensils/equipment, use plain water.
Don't allow cap to clog or become
dirty.
Don't allow coffee filter to become
dirty.
Don't reheat or allow coffee to sit on
a warmer for long periods and 'burn'
Don't use water with any impurities to
brew coffee. This will affect the taste. |
